Elizabeth Bullough also known as Betsey, was born in about 1830 the daughter of James and Martha Bullough. On the 3rd September 1857 she married in Accrington James Gray, salesman of Glasgow whose father William Gray was a mill manager. They went to live at 13 Ibrox Terrace, Paisley Road, Govan, where their son Charles was born on the 30 October 1863. At this time, James Gray is listed as merchant and calico printer. It was also at this address while visiting Betsey that her father James Bullough died. Elizabeth, widow of James Gray master calico printer, died aged 60 on the 9 January 1891 at 44 Nithsdale Drive, Pollockshields.
